¡Viva New Mexico Pets! Photo Contest
Calling all Catiacs and Doggiosos! Your pet’s five minutes of fame start here. Enter their best photos, help them climb the leaderboard, and support Animal Humane New Mexico—Simply make a direct donation of $5 or more to Animal Humane NM before submitting your pet photos to get in the running to win cash, prizes, and your pet’s stardom!
How to Enter
Submit up to three (3) of your favorite pet candid photos to petpics[@]vivanewmexico.us. Our editorial staff will choose one (1) featured photo from your submission to represent your pet in the contest. To validate your submission, you must complete one of the following entry methods:
- Donation Entry: Attach a screenshot or forwarded email confirmation of a donation of $5 or more to Animal Humane New Mexico and send it with your photo submission email. For your privacy, please crop or black out any credit card numbers or home addresses.
- Free Mail-In Entry (Alternative Method of Entry): No purchase or donation is required to enter or win. To enter for free, email your pet photos to petpics[@]vivanewmexico.us with the subject line “Mail-In Entry Pending.” Then, hand-print your full name, email address (matching the one used to send your photos), phone number, and a short 50-word statement explaining why you support animal welfare on a 3″x 5″ card or postcard and mail it to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by Monday, September 21st, and received within 5 business days to be eligible. Free mail-in entries carry the exact same odds of winning as donation-based entries.
How the Voting Works
The Top 50: ¡Viva New Mexico! editorial staff will review all submissions and narrow the field down to the top 50 pets.
Round 1 (Public Vote): The top 50 photos will be published online for a public vote. The public will narrow the field down to the top five (5) contenders.
The Finals (Final Voting Round): The top five finalists will move directly into the final voting round to determine the grand prize winner.

Top 5 Finalists: Win $100 cash each!
Grand Prize Winner: The top-voted pet receives the ultimate NM Pet Prize Pack!

For security, all financial receipts, screenshots, and unselected photos will be permanently deleted from our system within thirty (30) days of prize fulfillment. Your data will never be shared or sold.
Governing Law: This promotion is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico.
Limitation of Liability: By entering, participants release and hold harmless ¡Viva New Mexico! and Animal Humane New Mexico from any liability or injury stemming from participation in the contest or acceptance of the prize.
