¡Viva New Mexico! is a locally rooted lifestyle publication and web series focused on the real impact arts and creatives have on social issues across our state. Our mission drives every project, story, and event toward a win-win-win: spreading awareness of issues that matter, generating resources for communities in need, and elevating the people and organizations serving New Mexico’s most underserved. We’re by locals, for locals—built on social impact.
We’re growing our revenue base and looking for a self-directed sales professional to develop advertising and sponsorship accounts with similarly aligned businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to be part of that mission.
What You’ll Do
– Prospect, pitch, and close advertising, sponsorship, and partnership accounts with local and regional businesses and organizations
– Sell digital advertising, branded content, and sponsorship packages across our publication and video platforms
– Manage and grow existing accounts through consistent relationship-building
– Represent ¡Viva New Mexico! at community events and networking opportunities statewide
– Work toward monthly and quarterly revenue targets
What We’re Looking For
– 1-3 years of experience in media, advertising, or commission-based sales preferred
– Strong prospecting and closing skills; comfortable working a pipeline independently
– Hybrid/field work suits you—you’re not looking for a desk job
– Genuine connection to local arts, culture, and community storytelling
– Familiarity with digital media advertising formats is a plus
