On Season 2 of ¡Viva New Mexico!, host Jaimey B. talks with glass artist Rashan Jones about how he turned a borosilicate flameworking hobby into High Desert Flameworks, why Albuquerque’s vivid sunsets shape every color in his work, and how he built his career around being a solo dad. Plus, his advice for young artists (hint: keep the day job and stay in the studio), his work with New Mexico United, and why his favorite wine glass is a simple clear one with nowhere to hide. Check out the whole conversation below!
