On Season 2 of ¡Viva New Mexico!, host Jaimey B. talks with former casting director Elizabeth Gabel about leaving sets like Stranger Things and No Country for Old Men to write her debut young adult fantasy novel, Gates of Erin, which blends Irish mythology with the real history of 1924 Ireland. Gabel also shares how her years of reading people on set shaped her characters, her advice for industry pros who secretly want to write, and lightning-round stories about Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman, and the Coen brothers.
